Thank you for participating in today's "Let's Talk Cannabis" session at the Stockton Center for Successful Aging Festival. As described during the session, below are some resources to help you access helpful, reliable cannabis information.

SCOSA Festival "Let's Talk Cannabis" Resources
Stockton Insitute Lifelong Learning "Understanding Cannabis From Past to Present" Course Description
The history of cannabis is long, complex, and fascinating. While it has been used in a variety of ways by humans for many years, we have a complicated relationship with the plant today. To understand more about this controversial flowering herb, we can look to major historical events, public policy and public opinion, and marijuana messaging over the last century to gain insight about the continued federal prohibition, despite state-by-state legalization. Professor Angela Speakman is a member of the teaching staff for the Hemp and Cannabis Business Management degree program at Stockton University. Tuition for each four-session SILL course is $45. Courses are FREE for residents age 60+ who live in Atlantic County.
Tuesdays, June 3, 10, 17 & 24 | 12 - 1 p.m.
