Angela Speakman Featured on TEDx Talk

(Pitman, NJ) - Elucidation Strategies founder Angela Speakman spoke about “Cultivating Conversations: Cannabis, Clarity, and Communication” on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Wilmington TEDx.

Her talk explored best practices for growing understanding of cannabis topics by nurturing conversations rooted in facts and exchange. Speakman revealed why strategic communication is key in moving cannabis discussions forward and shared practical insight about the importance of promoting ongoing exchange over one-sided dialogue.

In her TEDx talk, the messaging focused on the contention: “In a world still experiencing cannabis controversy, understandably after a century of prohibition and criminal penalties, scary messaging and confusing information, the way to deconstruct this topic and replace fiction with fact is to approach intentionally and openly, and invite ongoing exchange, not demand enlightenment. For public cannabis education, change happens at the speed of trust.”  

The TEDx event featured 10 speakers who shared ideas about health and wellness topics; participants were invited to consider a variety of subjects and stories. Collectively, the speakers shared information and insight on a wide range of topics including cannabis education, pain management, aging, and other health and wellness-related themes.  

“It was a true honor to bring cannabis education to the TEDx stage, especially at a time when access to clear, credible information is more important than ever,” said Angela Speakman.  “As a cannabis professional and educator who focuses on fact-based, emotionally intelligent outreach, I’m committed to helping people make sense of what they’re hearing…and what they’re not. Speakman teaches for the Hemp and Cannabis Business Management undergraduate program at Stockton University and facilitates public learning programs across the Mid-Atlantic region.
